Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of the ICS Ops platform (portal.ics-ops.com) and related services. By using our platform, you agree to comply with this policy. Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Prohibited Activities

You must not use the ICS Ops platform to:

• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data belonging to other tenants
• Scrape, crawl, or perform automated data extraction beyond documented API limits
• Distribute malware, viruses, or any harmful code through file uploads or integrations
• Impersonate other users, tenants, or ICS Ops personnel
• Circumvent rate limits, resource quotas, or security controls
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations
• Interfere with service availability or performance for other tenants

3. Fair Usage Limits

To ensure reliable service for all tenants, fair usage limits apply:

• API rate limits: Per-endpoint limits are enforced to prevent abuse. Exceeding limits will result in temporary throttling.
• Storage: Reasonable use of file storage for documents, images, and uploads per tenant.
• Concurrent sessions: Standard multi-device access is permitted. Automated or scripted session creation is not.
• Bulk operations: Batch endpoints have separate rate limits. Large data imports should be coordinated with support.

4. Resource Limits

• Part catalogue size is subject to reasonable limits based on your subscription tier
• Order volume is managed through rate limiting on creation endpoints
• File uploads are limited to 10 MB per file
• Data exports are limited to prevent excessive load on shared infrastructure

5. Intellectual Property

• You retain full ownership of all data you upload to the platform
• ICS Ops retains all intellectual property rights to the platform, software, documentation, and branding
• You must not reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the platform
• You must respect third-party intellectual property when uploading content

6. Enforcement

Violations of this policy will be handled as follows:

• First violation: Written warning via email to the tenant admin
• Repeated violations: Temporary account suspension (72 hours)
• Severe violations: Immediate suspension pending review
• Account termination: Permanent ban with a 30-day window to retrieve your data

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ICS Ops harmless against any losses, damages, and costs arising from your violation of this policy or misuse of the platform. ICS Ops reserves the right to recover reasonable costs of investigation and enforcement.

8. Changes to This Policy

ICS Ops reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to tenant administrators. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
